Centro Andaluz de Flamenco
The Centro Andaluz de Flamenco is a public institution (under the Andalusian regional government) based in Jerez de la Frontera, one of the historic cradles of flamenco. Its main function is archival and documentary (sound archive, video library, specialised library), but it also organises occasional teaching and outreach activity, making it a must for anyone who wants to understand flamenco in its historical context, not just learn to dance or play it.
