Peña Juan Breva
The Peña Juan Breva is Spain's oldest flamenco peña, founded in 1958, and remains a leading cultural reference in Málaga today. It is not a school with structured classes — its main role is programming live performances and preserving the local flamenco tradition — but it fairly regularly organises one-off teaching activity, and is a must to understand Málaga's own flamenco (verdiales, malagueñas) from the inside.
